Last year, I visited the south India. Its my first visit to India, so why not to see around the india? I asked a friend in business where is the most famous place to see in the south India, and he said its must be Meenakshi Amman Temple.
I arranged a car with a driver and took about 2 hours from Chennai to get Meenakshi Amman Temple. Since its one of most famous places for sightseeing in the south India, there were a lot of people around the gate to enter the temple.
When I just entered into the temple, one Indian guy came up with me, saying “Do you need a guide?” Since the temple looks like has long history, I thought its might be good idea to look while listening the history of the temple from him. So, I decided to hire him as a guide.
But, I could not catch his English…
